I just ordered an Excalibur 4 tray dehydrator on Ebay (yay!), and it should be here by the weekend. I wasn't going to get one, but I thought about what I love to do, and I love to bake. When I don't have anything to do, I often make cookies, brownies, or cupcakes, and then hand deliver them to friends or family. I'm not making the goodies for eating them myself so much as I am making them to give myself something to do. (Plus, the long dehydrating time keeps me from being able to make them and gorge myself on them all in one night) So, I was wondering if you all would post a favorite dehydrator cookie recipe that I could try. It might give my raw-skeptic friends a nice taste of the good life.

Also, I love veggie burgers, so any of those are welcome, too.

Thanks!

Hey you!

Do you have Alissa's book? the pizza bread is really good (if you don't have the book let me know and i can post the recipe). I also made zucchini chips today and really think I will enjoy those. And I love fruit leathers.

For the zucchini chips, just cut up some zucchini thin in a mandolin.

For the fruit leathers, just blend up fruit really fine in the food processor...any fruits you like...add a little lemon or lime juice, and if you want them to be sweeter, some agave nectar, and then just spread it out and let it dry. I love putting some in my purse for when I get a little hungry in class.
