Does broccoli make you bloated with gas? I've been eating it for lunch the past few days and my belly look like I'm three or four mos. pregnant again. I love broccoli - will body just get used to it. I want to keep eating it but I can't stand being bloated like that.
Do you guys have the same problems?

Cassidy,
What's funny is that only *cooked* brocolli makes me feel that way. When you cook brocolli or cauliflower, it releases some sort of reactor that causes gas. That said, and I know this sounds weird, but are you chewing enough? Very often we tend to not chew our food enough, and it makes a HUGE difference in our digestive abilities. When we thoroughly chew our food, enzymes in our saliva start kicking to begin the digestion process, signaling our body that it's time to work. Most people just don't chew and break their food down enough. Also, are you drinking lots of water with your food? Try drinking your water after you eat; 20-30 minutes. Too much water can dilute digestion and cause gas and bloating. Good luck!
