Bored, Bored, Bored, I Want Crackers NOW!

Okay, so it's becoming painfully obvious to me that practically every recepie I want to try requires a dehydrator. I've got the munchies and I want something crunchy... Other than just plain nuts which aren't doing it for me anymore. Are there any crackers that will "air dry?" I fear I may be stuck here.

You can always use your oven at the lowest temperature and keep the oven door slightly open so there is some circulation.

You can also purchase them online from various sources if you can't find them locally at health food stores. Do a google search.

They are pricey that way though. If you are going to be having a lot of them, it would much more economical in the long run to invest in a dehydrator.

Try Freecycle. Maybe someone got one as a wedding present and does not ever plan on using it! Now that I have been suggesting this here I think we are getting alot of raw starters in my area cause suddenly I see alot of wanteds on Freecycle for things like dehydrators! Harbour Freight had some for $35. Don't know how good. The round kind. Not Excalibur.
