Has anyone made Alissa's Lasagna? I was wondering about the texture of the zucchini w/ the marinara, etc after it dehydrates for 24 hours. I would think there would be an incredible amount of juice from the vegetables and sauce but does the dehydrator take care of the excess juice?
Any advice would be helpful
Thanks!!

Well yeah, that's what a dehydrator does. Consider being in hot, dry wind. That's basically what a dehydrator does ~ like a desert. Sucks the fluid out of whatever it touches.
btw ~ I've never gone the full 24 hours (does it really say that?) I do about 6.

I haven't made Alissa's lasagna, although I've made many such lasagnas, and I have dehydrated some, and not others
I usually dehydrate to warm, not for 24 hours, although Alissa's recipes are excellent, so if it says dehydrate for 24 hours, I would do that.
I always make her recipes exactly as she wrote them, -- the first time -- that way, I know how they are supposed to be, THEN if I wish to tweek them, I do
this way I can add or subtract spices, seasonings, textures, etc any way I want for my own personal tastes
But it is always a great idea to make a recipe as it was written, as I trust that the chef/designer of the recipe, KNEW what they were doing, otherwise why would I buy their book?

Hi,
I've lined my plate or pan with cheesecloth as to catch the juice, it realy works, then you can dehydrate or choose not to. I've dehydrated mine for a couple of hours w/cheesecloth and it came out brilliant:)
