Have you purchased Alissa's book?
It's FULL of enough recipes that you'll never go back to SAD.

I loved reading Maw in the Raw website. She no longer updates it as she is so busy but it's got great recipes on it. Some are not 100% raw but are good transition recipes. :)

Yes i do have Alessa's book, but I am trying to find other recipts that my husband might like better. He is the pickest person I know but sincerly wants to do this. He would not eat a lot of veggies before, so i am trying to ease his taste buds into this diet. I love her book, but I love about everything to eat on this diet. thanks for all your tips and other sites. If you have any suggestions about makeing this easier for my husband, let me know!

Are there any recipes that he likes from Alissa's book? That might give us an idea of what he will eat. My husband isn't raw but has admitted to liking the calzone and pizza that I made and even the raw raviolis. There is also a taco recipe that I made that he liked.

My hard core, meat and potato son-in-law who ONLY eats meats, very few veggies, loved Alissa's marinara and Angel Hair pasta. He even ate it cold out of the fridge.
He also liked the Raw Deviled Egg "egg-less" Spread.
I feel your pain with him... ;)

Equipment:
High Speed Blender
Time to Make: Approximately 10 minutes
Shelf Life: Keeps up to 5 days in the fridge if sealed in a tight container. You can make this ahead of time!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup pure water
juice from one small lemon
1 clove garlic, peeled
1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
1 1/2 cups raw cashews
½ teaspoon dry mustard
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
turmeric, as needed for color (approx. ½ teaspoon)
Directions:
1. Place the water, lemon juice, garlic, sea salt and cashews in the high speed blender, and blend until very smooth.
2. With a spatula, take the mixture from the blender and place in a medium sized mixing bowl.
3. Slowly stir in the mustard, white vinegar, and turmeric until it reaches the color and flavor you desire.
4. Serve on top of flax seed crackers, celery sticks, or add a bit of water to make a creamy salad dressing.
