I eat a lot of fruit, and i have zero pimples. I think it's good for you.

My experience:
-I have eaten nothing but fruit for years now (no nuts)....and am the happiest, healthiest guy I know. No cavities...no acne.
-I think eating fruit CAN be a powerful tool for those who have done the research....and feel comfortable incorporating higher levels of fruit into their diet. I recommend that those who are transitioning....or have only been eating VERY healthy a short time....should probably concentrate on getting a very WIDE variety of fruits, vegetables and nuts into their diet...until they are very comfortable with 100% raw for a while......so that they don't have to really think about it.....and then experiment with mono-eating. Once comfortable with mono-eating......eating fruit (which is higher in calories) becomes a more natural thing. See what I mean?
-What do you think?

Hello there,
I also love my fruit!!! Fruit is our natural food. It tastes, looks, and smells good to us, is easy for us to obtain and eat and gives us health and happiness. Enjoy your fruit!!!
All the best,
Audrey

In my opinion:
High-fruit, almost all fruit is ideal.
Some people are not ready for this or do not want to eat this way. That's fine to. Do what works for you.

No...no greens for years now.
Rainbowangel: Scientists can't agree on the fundamental nature / laws of reality. You think they are going to reach a consensus on diet? Ha! ha! You will definitely have to use the tools and experience that is available to you (through this wonderful board and other informational sources). Folks like myself who have eaten nothing but fruit for many years are also standing by to support you and answer your questions. What more can you ask for! Ha! ha! And it's free! :) Well...almost! ;)

HI Rainbowangel!
You peobably read my story on fruit/acne thing.
I don't think you should give up fruit, if you are not having any problems - maybe your body reacts better to it? We are all different.
Personally, I hope to be able to eat (more) fruit again when I have healed my liver. (see some of the things I posted).
That being said, I don't think anyone should give up greens completely. It is a fact that our ancestors ate like 40% greens, 60% (according to Victoria Boutenko, who has studied the subject).
I see no reason why you should not throw in a handful of leafy greens in your smoothie a couple of times/day - just to be on the safe side :)
To DavidZaneMason : HI David, I have been wondering about something for quite some time. When I checked out your pictures, there is no doubt that you look really healthy and happy - glowing skin, sparkling eyes and so on. The only thing I noticed is that your teeth seem quite dark. (yellow/brownish) - and I wondered if that might be from all the acid in the fruit - I am sorry if I am offending you, I'm just interested since the teeth-thing has been such a big subject on this board. :o

Some fruit has lots of sugar (my bf thinks he is the king of produce) cause he used to work in a Zehrs and knows practically every calorie and every name that goes along with fresh foods.
But I still eat it. I try to eat fruit with more water content. I used to eat 2-3 banana's daily and now I might have one for breakfast and then I will have asian pears, watermelon, etc.. lots of water packed fruits.

I started raw food mainly because of acne. I love sweets and eat lots of really sweet fruits such as dates, mangos, cherimoya. I eat at least 50% fruits. My acne improved a lot ever since I started this diet.
