Aha... I just scrolled down and saw someone else was in awe over your creation. But... if you still want to e-mail or share the recipe that would be so great! I don't have the book - even though I have looked though it before and it is a very good one. Maybe I'll just buy it off Amazon- I could get a lot of use out of it anyway...

I have this recipe also, but spirulina changes color, so I was afraid to do this pie with that many ingredients and 3 layers on the crust. Did you follow the recipe exactly? Picture looks great ! Joz

I hate to ask for recipes from other books, so I won't, but are there alot of recipes from his book that are that yummy looking??
I'm itching to buy another book...I'm stuck between:
Rawvolution
Raw food Real World

I think I've got those titles correct??
But I've also looked at the Rainbow Green book before, and it seems to be a "program" to combat certain illnesses???? Is it, could you explain, I'd like to hear from someone who actually has the book.

Can we post it here with credit to the author and book title? If not, what a teaser--yikes. Thanks. It really looks delish!

well... Cousen's recomends that sugar needs be reduced, even a raw food diet, and is not a fan of stored grains. That is the general gist of it. It does have a three step food plan for anyone to follow who suffers from candida to aids, but the recipes are delicious and can be used by anyone. There are cool recipes for challa bread, lots of indian inspired recipies and a section on raising rainbow babies ~ like what to feed them and a adorable 1st birthday cake recipe. The recipes were developed by the kitchen staff at his retreat I believe.

jen ~ I followed the crust recipe excactly and I wish that I hadn't (ha ha! ) the nutmeg and cinnimon didn't go well. I would OMIT next time. The peanut butter layer I followed exactly.

The chocolatesque sauce I changed because he book had olives and olive oil,but I did put 1 tsp of spirulna/chlorella in~ just like the recipe. It really does not change the color any since it is such a small amount in alot of other stuff. I made up my own chocolate sauce.

the coconut layer I followed the recipe too pretty much....

lol~ I would be happy to post the recipe if I had permision. I am not trying to tease anybody! I paid $24.00 whole dollars for the book myself! I did send the recipe to cassidy, and I was hoping that she would "pay it forward" to someone who contacted her for it (cuz I really dislike copying and pasting to so many people :~) and so on... god I am going to get in trouble here.

I've gotta agree... that pie looks absolutely delicious. It's a work of art. Any chance somebody could pass the recipe on to me? I'm still in the transitional process of going raw, and don't have too many recipes, let alone pies that look that good.

Thanks in advance!
