View Full Version : Help with Ravioli Recipe please

I have heard such raves about the ravioli recipe that I am going to prepare it. It says to slice the turnips really thin. I have a mandolin that I would use but the blade I have doesn't really do thin.

I do have a Saladacco but that would be a spiral slice that would need to have a slit in it for individual circles. Anyway, with the slit, does that then work best on the side of the fold or on the bottom of the ravioli? :confused:

Gotta say, I just made this for the first time yesterday, and it is by far the best of the raw recipes I've tried so far ... and I don't even like turnips! It took all my strength not to snarf down the whole plate full, but I forced myself to save some to have for lunch today. Most yummy!
