I purchased a book on a spur of the moment shopping experience at an herbal store for the Master cleanse. Then I thought ugh oh!
See I am posting here because its not just about the MC but about my health.
I start school for the first time in 8 years to be a personal support worker. I will be driving to school and back home which will be 2 trips daily at approx 55 mins each way. I want to start my MC tomorrow morning bright and early but I am worried how It will affect me and if it will be okay to drive while fasting? I am more worried about being dizzy but I really am hoping it will be alright because I am passionate about going through with this and balancing both my health and school at the same time.
What do you think?

I did a 10 day master cleanse last year. The hardest part I found was the salt water flush in the morning. You need to drink the salted water 1.5 hours before you need to leave the house. When it begins to work and flush you out it can be quite explosive and you have to be close to a toilet at this time. Sometimes it only took 20 minutes to get going but other days was longer closer to the 90 minutes. After you start eliminating it can take another 30 minutes or so before you are "done". After a few days I found this to be the best part of the cleanse - your body is working with the lemonade to detoxify your cells and this is the culmination of the day before.
If you take along with you enough of the lemonade to last you through the day - I typically had 6-8 12 oz glasses although the longer I went the less I felt I needed.
For me, my energy was high and I did not feel dizzy or weak at all. In fact after a couple of days I was very clear headed and wide awake. If I had any kind of detox symptoms ie headaches or nausea it usually happened in the evening and once I had my salt water flush the next morning the symptoms vanished after the cleansing effect of this. Once the toxins were eliminated.
Hope this helps

Anytime one takes something to the extreme it's about imbalance, not balance. Eating raw food, as nature made it is in balance with the body. The Master Cleanse is not. I'm curious why you are doing this just as you're beginning school. Why not do it during break?
Other animals fast when they are ill, not when they are well. We're really a weird species.

i agree.....just keep that maple syrup flowing and you will be a-ok energy wise, its not like a sugar high, more like a constant light energized feeling, i never really crashed...i ever had trouble sleeping a few days into it. the salt water flush was the only thing that interupted the day. id start on a saturday so you have 2 days of not working to know what to expect with it. mine usually kicked in about 40 minutes after i drank it and lasted about 30 minutes, pretty much the same every day.
