Can anyone please give me a good fudge recipe? I saw one once on Alissa's website, but can't find it now.

Thanks,
Teresa

Actually, I've taken RP's brownie recipe and used black walnuts instead of English walnuts and really let it process and process for a good while in the FP, then stuck it in the fridge. It turned out like fudge...

I have a great recipe that is milk chocolate tasting that I created myself!

Chocolate Fudge:

1 1/2 cup cashew butter (or any other nut butter, or a mixture of cashew and tahini)

3/4 cup coconut butter/oil

1/2 cup agave

1/2 - 3/4 cup ground cacao nibs

1/2 cup carob powder

Vanilla to taste

Vita-mix the cacao fist to make sure that it is pretty ground. Then put all ingredients in a food proccesser and bland well! Make sure not to over blend, cause if you do then it can create a weird texture! I suggest blending (proccessing) the coconut oil/butter first and then the nut butter and agave, and then add the rest of the ingredients, add acrob pwd last.
When the dough is done then put it in the freezer and freeze. It's best when fresh, out of the freezer! You can put it in molds or tupper ware lids or whatever you want.

I really suggest trying this recipe, you will probably love it!

Let me know if you do!

Create a day of peace and love!

I found the recipe I was talking about which I saw on Alissa's website it was in the order food section under the raw carob item:

Here it is:

Fudge Balls:
I carried these around with me for the entire first year I was raw. If I had a craving, I’d just “pop” a fudge ball. These are amazingly fudgy: Rich enough to satisfy the most passionate chocoholic!

2 cups dates, pitted and soaked
2 cups almond butter
1/2 cup carob power

1. In a food processor, blend the dates to a smooth paste.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and process until smooth.
3. Remove from processor and form into round balls
Note: These will keep for a long time in the refrigerator.
