Hello to all

Hello all, I'm new to this board and new to knowing about raw foods and etc. I saw Alissa on Tyra's Diet wars 1 and 2 and said I have to give this a try because this could help me out. my body has been outta whack for too many years now and I need to get it right. I've eaten bad all my life (fast food and crap), never ate veggies, but never had many probs (or so my invincible mind thought :rolleyes:) until about 22 yrs old. I'm not gonna get into all my probs but on dec 2003 my bod seemed to have trouble digesting food, so I went to the doc a couple of days later and he said I had an ulcer :mad: . I tried to eat normal but it got worse and worse and I've pretty much been living off of snack foods, baked chicken, and mashed potatoes and I don't eat all of anything (I have a cup and I chew and swallow very little and ya know the rest :( ) That prevents me from going to restaurants. It's 2007 now. It's been going on too long and I'm tired of feeling tired and drowsy, and I'm tired of ulcer pains whenever I do any kind of high impact anything! Sorry I've babbled on, just saying hi! :D :D

Hi Tiera, I firmly believe that this is the best way to eat. Good luck on the healing process. I'm new also, and really enjoying the freedom that this raw diet gives me as far as eating goes. Delicious food, and you know it's nourishing your body. And I'm losing weight. The sooner you get going on this, the sooner you'll get better! Best wishes...

So Happy you saw the show......Please give it a try...Please just do, join the 30 day Challenge, there is one starting this month. That is one way to jump into RAW and have the support of your new Family joining you.

Your Body is just trying to get your attention, I see it did. Even an Ulcer does not like fast food. I would start making and drinking "Green Smoothies" also I would order Alissa's Book as soon as possible because it takes about a LONG week to arrive but in the meantime I would READ old Thread and ask question and lets get this RAW Party Started.

An uncontrolled Ulcer can lead to further trouble, so the sooner its controlled the better.
