When we tasted them they do taste just like chocolate but not sweet, we really like them.
But i have no idea how to use them, can someone please tell me how do you use them and can i make raw bars to take on a trip with them.
Thanks ahead of time, i will keep using them, what a great item to have on hand :D .

They are very crunchy but not too hard, love them.

I've ground them in the food processor (they get to be "coffee grounds" fine) then add raw dates and nuts, and process a bit until mixed. It makes delicious chocolate treats. I haven't had any for months. Tonight is shopping night, putting it on my list :)

Okay, here you go,
are you ready?
grind them in a coffee grinder to a fine powder, use espresso twice if your coffee grinder can do that
or grind them in a Vita Mix until fine powder, like baby powder
Rawpriestess' famous brownies (LOL) that's what they call them
or RP's famous brownies (for short)
1 cup walnuts (not soaked)
1 cup medjool dates (pitted, not soaked)
1/4 cup cacao or carob powder
blend in food processor until it will hold together when pinched, if it won't hold together, process a bit longer,
press into a pyrex pan and place in the frige, let get cold, cut into squares and indulge
or you can roll them up into balls and pop into your mouth, or you can roll them in coconut flakes, or cinnamon, or cacao powder,
or you can make a pie crust out of the mix,
or
chocolate cookies
take the above mix
divide into 12,
makes into balls, and flatten into cookie sizes (large)
place in dehydrator at 105 degrees until dryish about 4 hours
turn over, dehydrate more if you need to, should be crunchy/crispy
they are delicious,
I use these to put ice cream into and make ice cream sandwiches

I like to mix some nibs in a baggie with dried coconut and "dip-n-press" them into a banana. Nice as an "on the go" snack.

I made a new batch of these a few short minutes ago. Just downed three, about to get one more. Sooo good! :)
I'd like to know about the ice cream too...
