Hi, my friend's 30 yr old daughter is tentatively diagnosed with lupus. She has great swelling and pain in her hands and feet. Does anyone here have any experience with a raw lifestyle improving/eliminating lupus symptoms? They are looking for alternatives to western medicine and I'd love to steer them to some helpful information and hope.
thanks so much

I have lupus and have been raw for about 6 months. I wish I had known about raw food when I was diagnosed 3 years ago. Raw food keeps my swelling down and my joints loose. I am also 30 so I know what she is going through. When I don't eat right my body tells me. Raw food is the answere she is looking for. If she has questions about it she can ask me!!! Good luck :D
I met a lady at Alissa's class that had reversed her lupus on raw and was doing fabulous. I believe she was in her 50's too. She had been to many doctors and nothing really helped her until she went raw. Now she is a beautiful picture of health.
