Hello all: Does anyone know how to make rice milk? I know how to make almond and sesame seed milk but my son does not like it at all. The only thing he will drink is rice milk, and I don't know how to make it. I usually just buy it from the store, but I would rather make it. Also does anyone know of any other types of seeds or nuts I can use that are not that expensive?

I have seen other postings about this where many have tried various nuts and seeds like walnuts. I have done sunflower seeds but my favorite is cashew.

Mysticalwoman have you tried experimenting with making it. I would try soaking the rice as you would with nuts, seeds, grains ect and then make it like you would any nut/seed milk, add some agave or honey to sweeten and see what happens, just try a very small batch. Certainly no harm in trying right :). Let us know how it works. Take Care

I've made it before by soaking the rice and blending it with water and agave. I'ts good ... but it doesn't taste as good as the store bought. Rice milk (storebought) is all my daughter will drink too!
Maybe if you add some cashew milk or some coconut milk (something creamy) to the rice milk it would be more like the store bought?
