Anyone make sunflower seed milk? Do you strain the pulp out or just drink it all? If you do strain, what do you do with the pulp? I got plenty of things to do with almond pulp, but I am drawing blank on this...

I have always strained the sunflower seed pulp. I have done two things with the pulp. Moist pulp, I have added to veggie patties, while reducing the nuts in the recipe. Then, I have also, just spread the pulp out on the dehydrator shelves, and dried them, stored them until needed, and then placed them dry in the vitamix and blended them into flour. I then used the flour in cookie type desserts.
Both have worked well for me.

I am sure you could use dehydrated sunflower pulp the same way I use dehydrated almond pulp....I dehydrated it and then grind it into flour...it makes the best pie crust ever!! I'm sure it would make great cookies too! Check "therawtable.com" for a recipe for a pie crust. WONDERFUL!!
