Hi all,
Wondering what am I doing wrong in terms of detoxing and working out. I have eliminated everything, except for coffee, which I am working on decreasing. For some reason, the scale is not budging, and I KNOW my calories have dropped considerably. I guess I need to reduce my nuts and seeds intake, but I will find that difficult, cause they already help me with my cravings.
Any suggestions?

Don't go by the scale. Look at yourself instead. Notice the fit of your clothes. Notice the change in your muscle tone. Those are what count.
Muscle weighs more than fat so if you're burning fat and gaining muscle, your weight won't necessarily change. Scales are bad. Honest opinion? Just throw it away.
Good luck

How long have you been eating raw?
Are you exercising?
Can you describe a typical day's food?

Do not, repeat DO NOT depend on your scale!

Stop dropping calories.
When you don't eat enough, you slow down your metabolism. When you slow down your metabolism, your fat will not only not go away, but will increase.
Eat when you're hungry, stop starving yourself. This is the biggest fallacy in our culture, that in order to lose weight, you must be starving to death. So we have a culture of people who eat next to nothing, get fatter and fatter, and pay more and more into dietary aids.
Convincing you to bring your metabolism as low as possible is a billion dollar a year business. You can bet that someone's going to be damned good at it...

Drinking lots of water facilitates weight loss according to studies and personal experience. The rule I try to follow is to drink half my body weight in ounces every day. For instance, if I weigh 150 pounds, I drink 75 ounces of water a day.
I'm sure you have an excellent work out routine, but I'm curious what it's like. You didn't give any details on that.

Thanks for the feedback peeps,
Well what do I eat: Morning: 2-3 Majdool dates
Apple with raw peanut butter
banana
coffee
Afternoon: Zuccini pasta, with radishes
carrot juice
mixed nuts (walnuts, almonds)
Evening: Garden Salad
Apple, banana
Hazelnut
3-4 Dates
Snacks: oranges, pistacho, green smoothie
I know I need better menu options! It varies of course, depending on my moods.
For workout I am doing cardio for about an hour 4 times a week and weights once a week for about 1/2 hour.

Unless those portions are large, it sounds like you do definitely need to eat more.
You should not be focusing on restricting yourself.

I totally would, but I am so full! I dunno, its weird, pre-raw I could eat all day, but I find raw food soo filling. Also, that psychological trigger to eat for emotional reasons has faded (finally!!)
Will try though. Thanks again for the feedback!
Peace

When I'm drinking coffee, it seems like my body's energy has to work overtime to keep me balanced instead of on healing work or weight loss. As much as I love it, I'm feeling better without it- four weeks now! don't get me thinking about it......

Try increasing your portions and adding some olives or avocados. My breakfast is usually at least 400 g of fruit smoothie, with at least 4 different fruits, and I sometimes make another smoothie. My lunch is a big salad with lots of different vegetables (cabbage, onion, leek, carrot, celery...) and I try to make it at least 640 g. I just had two more smoothies for dinner and I'm going back to work. And I snack on olives as much as I want (until I run out and have to order some more).
