1. What is your favorite desert recipe from Alissa's book?

2. If you open the door while food is dehydrating, do you lose time by doing that? I'm dehydrating grapes & blueberries and my boy's kept wanting me to get them some warm grapes out. I was wondering if by doing that it would take even longer for them to get done.

Hmmm, my favorite Alissa dessert recipe eh? Let's see. Oh, okay. It is I guess a toss up between the date nut torte and the lemon pudding. I haven't made too many desserts.
Opening the door of the dehydrator I don't think will hasten the time. I'm always opening mine and checking and eating and stuff.

I'm always lifting the trays on my dehydrator to check on it lol... I sure hope that doesn't make me loose some drying time :D

well of course you lose time but my dehydrator does not work evenly so I always have to shift trays around and stuff on the trays around.

i can't answer your 2nd question as i don't have a dehydrater.
as regards the first question my favourite was Alissa's date and nut torte, however my favourite now is the blueberry cheesecake recipe. its so creamy and yummy :)
