View Full Version : Fettucini Alfredo Sauce

I decided to have the Fettucini Alfredo for dinner tonite. I must be doing something wrong with the sauce ... it came out more like cookie dough than sauce. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? Am I not mixing it long enough in the food processor?

This is definitely a trial and error learning process! :)

It will look like a big ball of dough. but as soon as you 'kneed' it into the 'noodles' it will get watered down and become the consistency of thick alfredo sauce.

Thanks, Alissa! I guess I didn't kneed it long enough. (I need some lessons from my cats, I think!) :)

I love the alfredo sauce, I have it at least twice a week. mmmmmmmmm But zucchini's are my fav anyway so I eat them with the alfredo and the marinara sauce quite frequently. YUMMY!!!!
