HI my name is Jennalle and although I am not new to raw I have gone astray. I been checking this site since 2005. I've met alissa and attended one of her classes. I've tried to go raw several times. I am at a point where I really want to go raw this time for good. I plan on starting a new 30 day challenge tomorrow and I will be journaling as well. Just a little bit about why I'm choosing to go raw now is the fact that at the age of 22 I am falling apart. I have been diagnosed with IBS although I believe I have something a lot worse then that. I am fatigued and tired all the time. I get really bad headaches, get dizzy, have trouble concentrating and overall feel like I am dragging through the day. I've been in the hospital a few times for stomach pain and a list of other ailments since the summer all of which the doctors say is IBS. I went vegan hoping to relieve some pain and gain energy (I have been vegtarian for a year). It helped for a month but I got really sick towards the end. At one point I was unable to eat and vommiting up even water. I had excruciating stomach pain and literally felt as though I was going to die. I became dehydrated and malnurished. It took two weeks for me to feel somewhat normal again and ever since then I've had this feeling in the back of my mind that raw would be the answer and would heal me. So I'm not thinking anymore I am doing. ALthough i need to lose weight ( about 40 lbs. in my opinion) my health is my nmber one concern. I'm too young to be feeling sick and always out of energy. I hope to become a success story and truly thrive this time on raw. thanks for reading and wish me luck.

Hey TinyTomato - welcome to the RAW world baby!
Oh I guarantee (and there are mighty few guarantees in life), but if you follow a 30-day challenge - no cheating - you WILL notice a difference, right away! You are right, you are too young to feel so sick, but even it you were 62 you would be too young to feel so sick!
I hope you have Alissa's book to follow. It is so full of information. And how fortunate you were able to attend one of her classes - I'm envious.
Please do this for yourself! You will wish you had gone raw years ago!
I AM wishing you luck - but you won't need it. You'll do fine! Come here and post often! :D

RAW IS a Journey, sometimes we miss the mark, but you Must keep doing it until it becomes a part of your Life.

I don't know much about IBS-and WON'T try to tell you how to treat it. Although I do know RAW is Good for all that ails you. Sometimes, being young, we get so wound up with life and our bodies become a mess. The pressure of this world can come and you become overwhelmed and we feel everything in our gut.

What I am saying in YOU MUST RELAX......Take long Walks..and yes eat LOTS of RAW Food.

And Remember, there will be NO Tomorrow if you don't take care of your Body Today..............

I wish you everything you need to Stay RAW...Welcome to MY World......

What I am saying in YOU MUST RELAX......

Well, that's a bit of a dichotomy. MUST and RELAX in the same sentence. How about allowing yourself to take care of you? You're definitely worth it. How do I know? You exist. That's all there is.
