A question about nuts

I do soak nuts before I eat them but I find myself soaking them everyday just for the recipes I use them in. Is it okay to soak the entire bag and then store them? This may sound so daft but I have no idea......somebody help :confused:

I usually soak them and then dehydrate them for storage and if need be, a quick soaking can be done rather than the usual 8-12-hour soaking. Some soak and store in the fridge, but I'm not sure how long they last that way.
