How do I make sweet potato chips in my dehydrator?

My fav thing to do is slice nice and thin, dip in olive oil and then coat in ground almond flour or golden flax seed flour which may be mixed with spices. I dehydrate until almost crispy. :)

A secret too is after slicing, put in a bowl of cold water with lemon juice. I usually use a whole lemon - juiced and let the slices sit for about 2 hours. Take out, pat dry, THEN put a little EVOO, cumin, whatever flavoring you want on it then on a Teflex sheet and dehydrate overnight. Oh - also, I don't peel my sweet potatoes, and if using the spiral slicer? Be sure to score your potato longways halfway through or you will end up with one L-O-N-G spiral slice.

I peel mine then slice them up in the food processor. Then I sprinkle w/garlic, salt and paprika and dehydrate over night. Yum!

Try soaking them in lemon water. It really "crisps" them up.
