Hey, I was wondering if anyone has found a good sub for Hot chocolate?
I was thinking I could blend some almonds or some cashews with some stevia and raw cacao (and cinnamon), but I thought I'd ask if anyone has any recipes or ideas first :)

Thanks!

I use almond milk (cashews sound nice and creamy!) agave syrup and cacao powder with a bit of vanilla and a teeny weeny whisp of salt...chocolate likes salt and brings out the flavour. I sometimes use orange oil for a change or cinnamon for an Ibara taste.(Mexican)

Can you tell I like chocolate?

Thanks!
I'm just wondering if I could make it really quick and get the same good results, instead of soaking or straining or anything like that :)

If you have raw almond butter you can make almond milk in 30 seconds. I do it all the time...just add a few tbsp of almond butter to a cup of water-more or less for your tastes & then add the previous ingrediants.. :)

Enjoy,

omg! I tried blending a handful of cashews, a tbsp. of Cacao, cinnamon, and stevia, and it worked out really well! I added about 8-10 oz. of water.
Next time I'll strain it through Cheesecloth or something after I blend it, as there was a bit of grainy nut pulp left in the bottom, but it def. hit my chocolate spot!

You can even run it through a wire mesh strainer. Nice to hear it worked for you ! :)
