I'm official!!!

[Myself Again]

Okay, so I got paid yesterday and could FINALLY go grocery shopping and begin my raw journey! Today marks day one, and OH MY GOODNESS, it has been GREAT so far! I bought a couple personal watermelons (which I'd never heard of before, but thought I'd give them a try!) and had one for breakfast. DE-LISH!! I had to make more of RP's brownies, as my family has been wolfing them down while I'm at work all day! I know it's only been about 8 hours, but I honestly feel FABULOUS already! Normally, I'm so tired that I seriously could plop down for a nap at any given moment, but today... today I feel ALIVE!!! I work two jobs, my second one being a massage therapist, so I NEED energy! And boy howdy, have I got it now! I'm on my lunch break and still have 4 more patients to see. Usually, the thought alone would exhaust me, but right now I'm actually looking forward to it! YAHOO!!! I just wanted to share my excitement with you all and put myself out there on my first OFFICIAL day as raw.

Alrighty, so it's been 12 hours now, and I'm still going strong! Thanks to everyone for your support! I also have to tell you that my lunch (celery sticks with raw almond butter) kept me full FOREVER (and I was a little worried about that)! Also, in regards to that particular lunch: I AM SO IN LOVE WITH ALMOND BUTTER!!!! Never had it before today, and now I feel so sad for my past, non-almond-butter-eating self! If I could marry a food, it would be almond butter! Then we would have little almond butter babies and they would run around, being all delicious and stuff... :)

Anyhoo, sorry if this is a complete BORE, but I am just so thrilled and full of ENERGY that I had to put it somewhere!!! Thanks!

ahh that's fantastic, i'm glad you're still going strong!

today was actually my first official day one as well and to be honest, it was slightly hard. initially i wasn't planning on going 100% raw and thought about just incorporating things into my diet, but i'm an all or nothing girl. i was doing great until i got to work (i'm a server in this amazing cajun restaurant) and being around all the yummy food was tough but i held strong! it was really great knowing that i could come home and see how supportive everyone was and reading how successful everyone is been.
