What can i do with all these refried beans?

Augh!!!! I have sooo many refried beans to eat but i can only eat so many.

Does anyone have ideas of what i can make with these? And also with all the "wheres the beef?" - i have tones of that leftover too - i dont want all this good going bad.

You can freeze them esp in small amounts. I would put into small plastic bins & then put some wax paper or parchment paper/even plastic wrap & get it down to the food so that the air does not touch the food. That will prevent freezer burn.

Then- warm in dehydrator..out of the plastic bin of course.

What would happen if you spread them on dehydrated crackers, then spread THAT with salsa, then dehydrated it? You'd have some yummy old snacks, I bet?

Doe said she shapes better than beef into patties, then dehydrates it, then freezes it. Then she rehydrates it in blended tomato, and it tastes like taco meat. (without the chilli powder it tastes like corned beef)

bobbie, fab ideas! i ended up making spicy carrot patties and a pizza crust with the leftover "beef", and used the beans in the pizza crust also.

Try it, Beckla.. cut the recipe in halves or thirds and try it.
