Hi
I am wanting to make a recipe that calls for nutritional yeast, but I am allergic to it :(

I did a banana search and all I found as a substitute were pine nuts, which are unavailable where I live...

Does anyone have any other sugestions?

Thanks :)

What recipe is it...I mean, what are you making? Knowing that will help determine what you can use (if anything) instead! :)

Hmmm...well, most times nutritional yeast is added to recipes to give a "cheesy" flavor - is that what you are seeking? Perhaps add some cashews and a little bit of red bell pepper? Not sure. Other than that, I can't think of anything else. Maybe it can be omitted (?)...does it call for a lot of nutritional yeast or a small amount?
