I have a slight dilemma...

i have sooo much of alissa's sour cream leftover and i need to make cashew frosting to go with the carrot cake im making...soooo i was wondering if i could just add sweetner to the sour cream? Or would I totally ruin everything that way? I mean, there is no garlic or anything in it. just the cashews, water, lemon juice, sea salt and a bit of acv.

what do ya think?

There's a thread on here for carrot cake cookies and the frosting recipe says "use Alissa's frosting and add agave ad vanilla" so it sounds like it would work!

Hmmmm... I'm like the opposite of a "make up your own recipe" type of raw foodist (at least so far, I hope that will change!)... But...

Carrot cake is really good with a cream cheese type frosting instead of the typical sweet type frosting... sooo... I would think since it's sour cream and has the lemon juice in it, if you add agave it might work!

But... I would try taking a couple of tablespoons, adding a little agave and taste it and see, rather than taking a chance with all of the leftovers. :)

Let us know how it works out.

I love how creative you are, thanks for sharing your ideas with us. :)

Well its not real sour cream So I don't think it would go rancid or anything lol You are extremely creative fairygirl. I would say try it out! I'm sure it will taste delicious. :p
