Food for my dinner party

Here are the pics of the food from my raw dinner party.
First, my guests were greeted with an apple/lime "cocktail", followed by 2 appetizers while mingling in the living room:
pesto mushroom caps and asian crunchies with sesame/ginger dipping sauce.

Next was a buffet line with salad.... and then people could make their own "burritos" with lettuce leaves (didnt have the time to make enough tortillas for 20 ppl...pooey), and fillings: guac, sour cream, nacho cheeze, refried beans, where's the beef... and i had baskets of some chili chips, corn chips, and spicy butternut squash chips on the table. Dinner was served with fresh carrot juice.

Dessert was a chocolate/raspberry cheesecake-type thing with raspberry sauce.

Surely look fabulous! Can't wait to next set of pictures. Are you the city, county, state, country raw chef? Have you been in paper? Seems like you are getting yourself around and glad your name is going out there, but curious if contacts are word of mouth or ? Surely picture perfect and has to be fabulous tasting too.

I'm impressed with you getting out there and sharing living foods. I don't know anyone doing this and glad you are having fun too. I do know many giving classes.

thanks! Im the "town" raw food chef...i live in a fairly small town...But i have been fortunate because a lot of people are interested and have been contacting me to do the raw food classes and put on raw dinner parties. Now Im working on a recipe book and will do a series of classes in the summer when i return.

Im just really happy to be able to teach people about this diet and how wonderful it is. I know that people are always amazed at how yummy and satisfying this food can be. They start out thinking all they can eat are carrot sticks and fruit...but end up with a totally different opinion :D

Fairygirl...your pics ALWAYS leave my mouth drooling.....are you making a book?? I want your recipes, like, yesterday!! ;) What do you "form" your pies in that they come out so neat?? Would that be a springform pan?? I'm learning that to turn people ON to what they are eating, it HAS TO look GOOD!! Thanks for sharing....I think you have people waiting in line for your "uncook" book.....waiting.....

Yes i was supposed to put an e-book out by the end of this month - actually my first one will be a raw dessert book, but with life being soooo busy and trying to prepare to go away, i will finish the book and have it out in the summer.

and PS - you are ALL welcome to come to my future dinner parties :D
