:) Please post your recipe for Miso Mushroom Soup?
I tried to make some but it was really bad.

Hey Bethanie - it's just a simple something that I came up with. I used hot to the touch water, adding a couple teaspoons (more or less to taste) of hearty brown rice miso (from South River), sliced up some crimini 'shrooms, and added some oregano. I was chilly and wanted some soup to warm me up.
My taste buds really appreciate foods for what they are. Some folks might think it's nasty tasting, but I really liked it. The 'shrooms are like little sponges and the longer they sat, the more they soaked up the broth. I imagine some onions soaked in Nama Shoyu and dehydrated could be added too. After I ate it I started thinking of other items that could jazz it up some.
It's funny. I'm starting to experiment with raw foods, which is way cool. I've been strictly "by the book" - Alissa's of course, but now I'm tweeking recipes and coming up with tastes that my body is desiring. It's so important to listen to your body's needs. Now not the SAD food it THINKS it wants, but once on your way 100% raw, the good stuff.
