:) and i need ideas on what to take along with us on the trip, we will be traveling 19 hours going there and another 19 coming back.
Please if anyone has taken long car trips then please share your ideas with us and recipes for snacks. Also what equipment did you take to make preparing things easier?
Also what are some of the things you ate after you arrived, i want to do better this time than i did on our last long trip.
Thanks ahead of time for your help.

I made these and they didn't stick together in a pan when I cut them. So I just made them into tight balls and stuck them in the fridge, and OH MAN! They are sooooo good! THey'd be great for a road trip.
Also... maraw's lemon chewies... raw pizza...fresh fruits & veggies to just munch on... take a cooler and just fill it with goodies!

RAWvolution's famous onion bread is a good traveler with some dip and veggies. I also travel with my Vita-Mix. Comes in handy for making Green Smoothies.
I agree with RC - just jam-pack a cooler with all sorts of "stuff". Traveling with raw is easy! I mean fruits are such complete packets of goodness. Nuts travel well.

Are you coming to visit me? :p
check happycow.com and maybe you can find some great places to stop along the way. When we drive we always map out our trip around happycow and found some amazing and yes RAW cafes all over the coutry! if you can't find a restaurant check the health food store listings also, many have juice bars!
Have a great trip!

How about making granola or trail mix? its super easy and u can throw "easy to eat" fruits in a bag to bring along...and veggie sticks.
I made a batch of granola which i stuck in the freezer and am bringing it on a 14 hour flight to Fiji...and if it gets squished, it doesnt matter :D thats the joy of it.
how about some raw sandwiches too? or flax crackers and cheeze.
