Vacation in Maine Summer 2007

I was so excited I just read that Alissa Cohen has or is going to have a raw food restaraunt in Portsmouth New Hampshire (very close to Maine) and a bed and breakfast in Kittery Maine! I'm definetely going to go, that would be neat if moms from the board and families could meet at Alissas new restaraunt and it would be a nice vacation as well. =) Just a crazy thought, I'll be there this summer I know that for sure =)

Well, I live in Maine, too (near Blue Hill but possibly relocating to Greater Portland) so I'll be going 1x per month- if we move to Ptld., otherwise, well I'll wish we could go once a month!! Where do you live? How are you doing being raw in Maine? Please feel free to e-mail me if you wish, I know I love the idea of not being the only raw fooder in MAine!! (I know I am not, but it can feel like that!!)

GoodBeets we were also thinking of moving to the greater portland area in the future (1-2 years). My husband is finishing up nursing school and has about 1 year left and once he graduates we're going to buy a house since right now we are renting which stinks. Sometimes I feel like I'd like to move out of state to a warmer area just because of the availability of the raw food and since it is so much cheaper other places! We just started going completely raw so we're doing the best we can but we've all been having some food cravings. The no meat part or dairy is going great it's just all the other stuff that is calling us. Of course we are getting a dehydrator and vitamix which will help I hope. Talk to you soon! :)
