The talk about keeping warm with ginger is true. I'm keeping a bottle of ginger/apple juice with me and it is seriously making a difference. At one point I almost broke a sweat. It tastes fabulous too! :)

Is it as simple to make as it sounds? Just some ginger and apple and blend? :p Cause that sounds really good!

I just juiced about 8 apples with a finger length or more of ginger. I needed enough to last all day at work. Also I have made ginger apple sauce by juicing one apple and a bit og ginger and blending the juice with apples. Very yummy. I read in a old post that some people put ginger slices in warm water and drink it. Maybe it wasn't warm water. Anyway. I need a bit of sweet with my ginger because it is spicy. :)

If apple juice with ginger gets left to sit in the fridge does it change colour?
I remember once making strawberry banana filling and set it in the fridge when I wanted to fill my pie it had turned purple

I love the idea of ginger warming the body...ive heard that before, about ginger and cayenne, but it never seems to work for me. Im always cold :(
Maybe im not using enough ginger? You mentioned that your drink is spicy, making me thinking that your ratio is pretty high?
Anyway, ill try with more ginger and see how it works, thanks for the info!

i was informed a while back by the ever knowledgable rawtruth that coldness could be caused by an iodine deficiency , she suggested kelp and it works for me . though the sea taste is nasty .

thanks michigan roman,
iodine eh? thats interesting becauase i used to have hypothyroidism and was needing more iodine. How long did it take to help you and how much kelp do you take?
