Almond milk

Hello,
I want to make almond milk and I read the raw almond butter with the water and some honey will make the same thing. Any one make almond milk with almond butter, and how was it?

Mine came out kinda gritty. None of us liked it that much. Sorry.

Almond milk from almond butter is ok if you need a small amount to use in a recipe.Not so good for drinking because they don't peel the almonds when they make almond butter thus the gritty feeling.

Ah gee. That's the main reason I wanted to find some almond butter. Rats! :(

Almond butter makes gritty almond milk but that's okay it it doesn't bother you. Still tastes good.

I like using almond butter (or tahini) for shakes: almond butter/water/frozen banana/vanilla or cacao/agave or honey/cinnamon.
