It looks like the 4th of July through my eyeballs, flashes of light going off and on.
For the last week i've been light headed especially when getting up in the morning and then from getting up from a sitted position now that is going away i'm getting the light flashes.
I'm taking eye vitamins off and on and i've never had these symptoms before.
Please let me know if you have experienced anything like this?
Thanks
B.

Sometimes people dealing with candida and other fungal issues experience this sort of thing.

Are you serious, i just purchased 10 packages of mushrooms and within a week and a half all are gone except for 1 package of small portabella mushrooms.
Do you think i ate too many?
Thanks so much for the help.

I don't know Bethanie. Your particular situation may have nothing to do with candida.. I just know that some people have this happen when they are dealing with a big candida episode, and any sort of detox can bring it on, so I mentioned it.
Personally I don't eat mushrooms or any sort of fungus, but ...and this is just my opinion based on nothing but my opinion... I would think that it's more an issue of detox than eating too many mushrooms, if the light flashes are even connected to candida.
There could be another reason entirely for this happening. I would monitor it to see if it worsens. It may be something that resolves itself quickly, or you may feel better seeing a doctor about it if it continues. I know one person who had this occur and he had lights going off all over, and even colored lights...his knees would give out..I don't know about light headedness...but he encountered just a very heavy malaise from the candida.

Bethanie,
I've experienced the same symtpoms, especially the lightheadedness. Personally, I think it is low blood pressure - which is a good thing!! ;) Try to eat several small meals during the day, drink plenty of water and see if this helps.

I would have it checked out just to be sure. Flashing lights are also a symptom of a detached retina, and that is serious business.

Yes, get to the eye doctor right away. Sometimes people see what are referred to as "floaters", little lines or spots that move in front of your eyes, but flashes of light could be something serious such as a detached retina.
