I went to a Asian food store and the had fresh fruit call Sapoure it looks like a potatoe but shaped like a egg and very thin skin. The lady said to wait until they are very soft before eating. Has anyone tasted this and what does it surpose to taste like. I am very excited about trying something different.

So I ate the Sapoure when it got soft. It was sooooo good. It tasted like cooked carmelized pears and very,very,very sweet.
