Is there such thing as raw food coloring? Making mint layers in my raw chocolate bars just ain't the same without that beautiful hint of mint green! What could I do for that? :p

hmm. maybe a small amount of spinach? Sounds gross, but just like a green smoothie...you don't taste it.

Ya perhaps I could turn spinach into a liquid form and use some of its green juices! I might have to add more mint to drown the spinach lol but it's worth a try :p

Would using fresh mint leaves give any color at all?

I wouldn't think so. Maybe I will try that before the spinach :D

Don't herbs make smoothies just as green as spinach does?
What about kiwi?

Would bay leaves work??
I have used:
beet powder to make red or pink
spirulina to make blue-green
wheatgrass/barley powders to make green
the taste doesn't really change.

If you juice: What really stains your juicer? Or chopping up veggies: what stains your cutting board??? These are great natural dyes.
If you have access to fresh spearmint, crushing this and extracting the juice makes good colouring. I'd go with the spinach too ^_^
