I just realized I left my pastry decorating kit at the condo. And I was right in the middle of Maraw's lemon chewies.
So here's a tip if you don't have a pastry tube:
Just use a sandwich bag!
Fill the bag up to about 2/3 full.
Then CUT a little tip about 1/4 inch. You'll have to experiment. Start small, you can always make it bigger!
Then TWIST the bag to get the dough out.
I made half-dollar circles, then filled them in in a sort of spiral shape. They turned out great!
My house smells so good right now!
I have Maraw's chews going along with apple cookies.
