hello! I had my second ultrasound last week and discovered that I have uterine fibroids. Apparently at my 8 week ultrasound, the techinician saw one, but failed to mention it to me. Now I have several. I am told they aren't dangerous to me and rarely are the cause of premature labor...although if they continue to grow that is one of the risks..as is needing to have a C-section if they get in the way of the birth canal.

Although not dangerous, they are painful. The last couple of days they have become increasing painful and are so large I can feel them readily through my stomach..my mom could feel them too!

I am wondering if anyone has had this experience and/or if anyone knows of specific foods that could help in possibly shrinking them...?

Thanks

You really need to read http://www.womenshealth-naturalsolutions.com/Dr.Lees%20Protocol%20on%20Fibroid%20Tumors.htm and also go to www.goodbyepms.com and read about xenoestrogens and then the rest of the site. Then email them and ask about pregnancy and fibroids. They will answer. Dr. John Lee's books will help also. The raw diet and exercise are extremely importent for balancing your hormones - if you can exercise safely.
