hello :D
I have a question about eye color change on the raw diet. I have heard about people's blue eyes turning blue-er,green eyes turning blue as well as hazel and brown eyes , and peoples eyes turning lighter in color as well as improved vision. Has anyone expirienced this? If so I would love to know :)
I have hazel eyes [ a brown ring around the pupil then a bright green ring that is about 2x as think as the brown ring , and then a small blue ring aroun that. It almost is like the green is covering the blue , like a contact lense is over it, I read that hazel and green eyes is a result of toxins in the iris is this correct? * i would love for my eyes to turn blue! :D*

From my readings & experience the whites of the eyes get whiter & the natural color is clearer.

There are old threads here about that. If what you say is true about hazel eyes - well come to think of it - I have seen no young children with hazel eyes. They are black, brown, blue, green and gray but I am trying to think of a kid I know with hazel eyes and I cannot! Wow! Someone posted a link here recently and I learned that sore throats happen to young people. Dangit! Here I was thinking that I am getting healthier and now I find out that I don't get those sore throats just cause I am getting older!
I cannot believe that I am only just learning this stuff. My dad has hazel eyes but he was already old by the time I met him! LOL!

When I went raw the first time my vision improved to the point that I didn't need reading glasses and my distance vision went from-1.50 to -1.0. Then I was a bad girl :( and fell off raw and over the next 2 years my vision returned to what it was before. Now I am back into raw and I am having problems with my current glass again so I know my vision is changing back to a better level. I rarely need the reading glasses (only very small print in a darken room.) Since I am now in the 50+ range my vision should be getting worse not better. :) As for color, my eyes are green and have a blue rim. I think they stayed the same however some people said things like I never noticed you had blue eyes before. When I looked in the mirror I still saw green what I did notice was how much brighter and clear my eyes were. The white was so much whiter.

well, I have hazel eyes. Infact I have 4 sisters and we all have hazel eyes (verging more on green than brown). On raw, the whites are whiter and the green more emerald. As a kid I think I had hazel eyes  (maybe I was just very toxic!!!lol) BUT! Who knows.....I too would love for my eyes to turn blue - so I hope there is some truth in it!!! My bf has the most beautiful dark saphire blue eyes :p

I was on my way back from the gym last night, and noticed that the city night-lights looked clearer, and that I could see further and still clearly distinguish objects and people which were far off in the distance. The lights were so clear and, er, pretty, the whole experience bordered on the surreal. It sort of reminded me of the movie Wolf, where Jack Nicholson's character begins to notice a significant improvement in his five senses after being bitten by a werewolf. Arroooooo! heheh :D As for eye colour, I'm quite happy with my deep, rich, chocolate brown eyes as they are thank you very much :)
My eyes are clearer and my eyesight has improved since raw.

As far as I know my eyes have been green with a little gold flecking all my life and now are turning blue according to some persons remarks and look more that way to me sometimes also. These comments from others were unasked for so it wasn't influenced by me. My vision has been having better periods so that sometimes I don't need my reading glasses. Some days my normal (non-reading) vision is amazingly sharper. I will really be happy if the severe dry eye condition I have suffered with since lasix surgery goes away. My mother's eyes were blue so this kind of tickles me in a way though I don't know anything really about what the change of color means.

I still have to take Rx for sleep. I retried an old one last night and woke up with fuzzy vision. Wish I could have 6 months off work to detox that stuff out of my body with raw and hopefully get back to natural sleep that have not had in long long time.
Raw - my whites are white and not so yellow - except for when sick in Oct/Nov and also not so red - nobody has said anything about the colored part.
