I am in San Diego, CA and I want to get a Saladacco. Being your typical Californian, I don't want to wait to have it shipped. Does anyone know where you can buy one? Do any of the chains carry them? I looked at Bed Bath and Beyond, but I didn't see one. If I have to, I will order online, but I was hoping to pick one up this weekend. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Being that you live in San Diego have you checked with the Natures First Law Store?? I have only been to the store once when visiting the area but I remember they had several juicers, processers, dehydrators etc for sale. Try calling them and see if they have any or drop in for a visit if not to far out of the way. 1-800-205-2350 or 1-619-596-7979.

Have you ever shopped at Asian markets?
They have the same kitchen appliances (better, usually) at very inexpensive prices. I've seen beautiful stainless steel ones, much sturdier. And I've seen Spirooli-style appliances as well.

Best,

Great idea! I haven't thought about that route. Thanks for the info.
