Hi Guys,

I'm new and inexperienced making some of the raw stuff myself. I don't yet have all the equipment and even if I did I want to know where I can get pre-made food. I tried some raw food products lately and just wanted to share. Hope you do too.

1) Live Granola from www.goraw.com. $9.95 per package. It was good but expensive. You can eat it as a snack out of the bag or add some water or almond milk and eat it like cereal.

2) Rawsheed's Raw Pizza - Got it at Whole Foods in Sherman Oaks in CA. It was ok. It was too nutty for my taste but interesting. It was about $7 or $8 dollars.

3) Rawsheed's Kale Salad - Got it at Whole Foods in Sherman Oaks in CA. It was not bad. A bit too vinegary for my taste. It was about $7 or $8 as well.

4) Strawberry Fields Raw Cheescake from Earth's Cafe - Got it at Whole Foods in Sherman Oaks in CA. It was very good. Tasted like Strawberry Cheescake but made of nuts, agave nectar, starwberries. It was also around $8 for a slice. Here is their website. http://www.earthcafetogo.com/

5) Was craving bread and ordered the Raw Buckwheat Bread online from
www.gorawcafe.com. It's called the Garlic Buck Wheat Bread and sells for $6.25. I did not like this. It had too many herbs in it. It did not taste like bread to me.

6) Mauk Family Farms makes raw crackers made of flax and other seeds and spices. $3.50 per box if you order via their website. Also they make a raw trail mix but I have not tried that yet.
Here is the link. http://www.maukfamilyfarms.com/pages/615965/index.htm

7) Spirulina Energy Bars from Go Raw www.goraw.com . Yummy! It has sesame seeds, banana, coconut, dates and spirulina. I like this and will attempt to do it myself when I can.

Ok your turn. Let's keep this string updted. I'm sure as the Raw movement becomes more popular so will raw food products.

Wow, raw pizza and cheesecake at a store?! *jealous* Where I live you can't even get vegan prepared food like that let alone raw.

Here are the prepared raw food products I have tried:

-Audrey's Pleasure Royal Cheez bar: Really, really good. Tastes a lot like my grandmother's cheese straws. I will definitely buy these again. (I bought them for $2.59 each from www.veganessentials.com)

-Audrey's Pleasure Four Season bar: I didn't like this flavour as much, but it was okay.

-Goodsnax Raw Brownie Macaroons: Very rich and delicious, although they really aren't like brownies *or* macaroons - more like truffles. Yum! I bought them from www.veganessentials.com, but they don't carry them anymore. I am not sure they are 100% raw (although they say "all raw" on the bag, they contain cane sugar and maple syrup).

-Goodsnax Raw Chili Cheeze Munchies: I didn't like these. Too spicy and they didn't really taste like chili or cheese. I bought these from Vegan Essentials too (they don't carry them anymore).

-Goodsnax Raw Jaca Butter Cookies: Truly the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten. lol Like all the other Goodsnax stuff they do not carry them anymore, actually I'm not sure they make them anymore. Just as well in this case!

I'm probably going to be trying a few more things in the near future, so I will continue to update. :)
