Hi Guys,
I'm new and inexperienced making some of the raw stuff myself. I don't yet have all the equipment and even if I did I want to know where I can get pre-made food. I tried some raw food products lately and just wanted to share. Hope you do too.
1) Live Granola from www.goraw.com. $9.95 per package. It was good but expensive. You can eat it as a snack out of the bag or add some water or almond milk and eat it like cereal.
2) Rawsheed's Raw Pizza - Got it at Whole Foods in Sherman Oaks in CA. It was ok. It was too nutty for my taste but interesting. It was about $7 or $8 dollars.
3) Rawsheed's Kale Salad - Got it at Whole Foods in Sherman Oaks in CA. It was not bad. A bit too vinegary for my taste. It was about $7 or $8 as well.
4) Strawberry Fields Raw Cheescake from Earth's Cafe - Got it at Whole Foods in Sherman Oaks in CA. It was very good. Tasted like Strawberry Cheescake but made of nuts, agave nectar, starwberries. It was also around $8 for a slice. Here is their website. http://www.earthcafetogo.com/
5) Was craving bread and ordered the Raw Buckwheat Bread online from
www.gorawcafe.com. It's called the Garlic Buck Wheat Bread and sells for $6.25. I did not like this. It had too many herbs in it. It did not taste like bread to me.
6) Mauk Family Farms makes raw crackers made of flax and other seeds and spices. $3.50 per box if you order via their website. Also they make a raw trail mix but I have not tried that yet.
Here is the link. http://www.maukfamilyfarms.com/pages/615965/index.htm
7) Spirulina Energy Bars from Go Raw www.goraw.com . Yummy! It has sesame seeds, banana, coconut, dates and spirulina. I like this and will attempt to do it myself when I can.
Ok your turn. Let's keep this string updted. I'm sure as the Raw movement becomes more popular so will raw food products.
