Hello all!

How are you doing today? Having a good day?

What is curcuite training? I hear about it all the time, but I don't exactly know what it is. Is it where you lift sets of weights and then jump into some fast cardio and then go back to weights or sit ups or lunges, an then you go back to doing more short cardio and then back and forth for a while?

Also, what is a better cardio for your knee's, and the rest of your body in the long term? Biking, running, eliptacle, rebounder, kickboxing, boxing wiht a bag...I suppose that cross training between all would be good? Wich one get's all of your legs, like butt, inner thighs and all?

How much weight should you lift to make a differnce but not get too buff? Also, what about resistance training? I hear that a lot of people are not into weights. Does resistance give you the same results?

I appreciate all of the feed back!

Thank you!

Circuit Training is when you move quickly from exercise to exercise in a rotation fashion. For example: You pick 8 exercise and do one set of each for the same number of reps. Then when done you start over again doing one set and same number of reps again.

Interval Training you would add cardio intervals between the exercises.

I think the best thing for the knees is to do various types of exercises. Do not be repetitive if your knees bother you. The worst machine for the knees is the (old style) Stepper. That I would avoid.

Resistence Training is Weight Training, Anything where you push or pull weight is Resistance. Do a weight you can get 10-15 reps to start. You will get a good look with that weight. You can just use body weight too !

Thank you!

Is it more effective to do cardio spurts between exercises? Like say you picked to do 6 arm exercises and a few lower body ones, then you do one set of each and then cardio and then another set of each and then cardio. But this would be like 2-7 minutes of cardio right?

Thank you for all of your help! I really appreciate it!
