Hi, I'm 35 years old and new to this Live/ raw food living.
I am happily married and have 3 kids that I homeschool.
We eat ONLY oragnic food, but I'm learning that I need to take a step further and go raw. I love to cook, so this will be a challenge for me "not" to put something in the oven or in a pot on the stove. :o hehe.
My kids are really picky eaters, and they don't like veggies, but I'm tricky and I make Fresh Juice for them with a bit of sweet pinapple or apples.
Anyway, any good advice will help the transition from dead to live foods. ;)

That's the No.1 rule of being a Mother, is being tricky but always their best interest at Heart.

I see RAW has a BULLS EYE on your chest and is ready to shoot Hearts at you. RAW will hunt you down.......

Start a cooking class, cook foods that you are eating now, slowly incoperate more RAW food, with the Children participating, they usually eat what they cook.

I would not try to take the Children to 100% right now. They would fight you all the way. But it is OK for you if you choose. I would really let down the hammer come summer when it is HOT and SMACK them with every Fruit and Salad known to Man.

Thanks for Loving your Family so much that you are begining a Journey for them that they can travel down for Generations to come.............

I wish you everything you need to Stay RAW....Welcome to MY World..........

Hi Ahava,

Trying to find other people in Oregon who might be interested in sharing recipes, or just supporting each other. Let me know if you are interested.

Hi Ahava - I agree with spicyfull. I wouldn't do the kids 100% raw right off the bat either. With our house, I went 100%. My kids couldn't HELP themselves with wanting my raw food (dessert first, that was the key for us), and it spiraled from there to where they were wanting a LOT of what I had. So I transitioned them and then they went 100% on April 1st, the day we moved.

I also loved to cook! But it's okay, cause I love "preparing food" even more! I am having even MORE fun in the kitchen now that we're all raw! (Well, except dh, he eats SAD outside of the house.)

Good luck to you on your raw journey! You'll do great!

Oh, and we also have 3 that we homeschool!
