I tried the raw life last year and sadly to say slowly got back into the SAD and. I am starting raw again and need all the help and support I can get. I live with my 16 yr old son who still likes the SAD, so that in itself is a challenge. I love raw foods but I am addicted big time to cooked foods so I am hoping I can beat my addictions and become raw 100%.

Welcome. This is the best place to be for kind and knowledgable support. Where in San Diego county are you? I'm now in the Inland Empire area but commute the I15 daily. Looking to hook up with a group or two for potlucks, inspiration, etc.

The Longest Journey begins with one single step and my friend you have made that step. Take it one day at a time. Keep your food prepared, ready to eat. Open your fridge as less as possible, keep nuts and other vegetables in a container somewhere else to not be tempted by what is in the there.

We are always here to help you. You are not going to go through ANYTHING none of us has not already go through. So to keep you from falling there will be someone to gladley walk you through.

Sorry, I am responding so late. I didn't check in in a few days, but tonight I felt like I was ready to be more serious with this and not just do raw part of the day. I enjoyed some tangerines today and as I was really tasting them and not just gobling them up, I thought, wow, this is how I need to eat my fruits and veggies, TASTING them! ENJOYING them! LOVING them!
