to see my face break out! I've never had a real "problem" with acne. Just occasional breakouts from time to time, some times worse than other. Well, I've been raw since Dec. 27th (for the second time now), and OMG! My face is SO broke out this morning. My husband thought I'd lost it cause I was sooooooo happy about it. Then I explained that it's my body detoxing and that that is a COOL thing! He kinda understood then. I'm sure he probably still thought I was a little loopy! Just had to share!

I woke up this morning all sore, like I had done a weight training workout or something! I am LOVING detox! I know that sounds totally stupid, but I just am happy because I know it's my body getting rid of all of the bad stuff!

This is what excites me most about life. The answers to life's most perplexing questions are often very simple, and staring you right in the face, if only you'd be open enough to take the time to look! For years, I have searched high and low for a cure for shaving rash that didn't involve me slathering on all kinds of chemically burning, carcinogenic pharmaceutical ingredients on my skin. All along, all I had to do was stop eating cooked foods :mad: My skin hasn't reacted in the same way, or to the same degree, that it traditionally has after a shave. Actually I started to gradually notice this since I started taking wheatgrass in the mornings, but the raw diet has augmented this. My skin is not perfect, but it is waaay better than before :cool: Eating raw has also done wonders for my electricity bill. Heating and cooking are the two biggest contributors to a high electricity bill in my experience. I have more zit than I EVER have! Not just on my face either! That's never happened before. For the past couple of days I've been achy and had a slight fever! Yay! I am just loving this process and knowing that my body is cleansing itself!
