Sorry if this is too much information - but are UTI's a common sympton of detox, by any chance?

I think this must be a detox symptom. My daughter who was 5 when we went high raw developed a very serious bladder infection and the symptoms kept on popping up and then going away. Then she got seriously sick with a high fever and had to go on antibiotics. It was very weird but I am sure it was some sort of detox symptom...

I managed to avoid it... but good to know I wasn't alone. Thanks... and will post in health next time. I was new and figuring out the boards. =)

Also sorry if this is too much information but it is kind of coincidental. Since going mostly raw I have had urinary urgency where before I could go most of the day without going now when I have to go I GOTTA GO! Almost not able to get there in time. Hope this settles down. Anybody with info on this would appreciate hearing from them.

i knew uti's were common but many of us seem to have them. i had one this weekend and it's back today. maybe i never got rid of it.
the doctor will say wipe from front to back and pee before and after sex. yes. i do all of that and still get them. i think it may be related to going back and forth between eating all raw and not. last night i ate pizza and french fries and symptoms of a uti came to me about an hour ago. now it's bad so i'm going to sit on the toilet with some water and cranberry pills AND a book.
i once tested the pH of my urine and though i don't remember what it was, it was very different from my co-workers (we did it at work.) maybe this has to do with the acidic/alkaline body. don't know much about that but if anyone is familiar, could you let me know if that is a possibility?
thanks!

Another Yes could be detox . I had many UTI over the years of 20-35 then none...for ten years, went raw and had what my DR called symptamatic UTI, felt like I had them but did not ! how odd...now they are gone.

I am wondering if these are confirmed infections or just the symptoms?
