Hi, my name is Kat and I'm in New Hampshire. I just started a raw diet a week ago. I had a couple days where I couldn't stand it and ate some cooked food, which made me feel worse. Since then I've stayed 100% raw and it seems to be getting easier. I don't have that gnawing empty feeling much anymore. I started raw because I'd been reading about natural hygiene for quite a while. I'd improved my diet quite a bit over the last year, eating maybe 30-50% raw and lost 40lbs. But I started having terrible pain in my hip (after a long road trip with very bad food) - and I noticed I have a lump on my hipbone. I don't know what it is, but I think raw food or fasting will get rid of whatever it is. I'd like to lose 70 more lbs too.

Yesterday I had this wild anxiety attack. Never had anything like that before. I took a long walk and it went away. I guess it was some sort of detox thing.

This forum is great! I've been reading over a bunch of posts. It helps keep me going without getting discouraged.

Welcome Kat! There has been much written here about emotional detox. I don't think that I have gotten there yet.
