I am new to the raw lifestyle and am wondering if anyone could share their thoughts on the Vita Mix food processor..is it the best to use or? Has anyone ordered the dehydrator or saladacco from Alissa Cohen's site? If so please let me know if they are good or if there are others out there to buy that work just as well? Thanks for any info!

The Vita-Mix is not a food processor ~ it's a blender. IF you get it you may still need a food processor as one handles liquid better than the other. Alissa sells the Excalibur. Best on the market.
If you search here you'll find LOTS of information on the V-M AND the Excalibur.

i just wanted to add that ive come to find out its (for me, at least) somewhat of a better idea to invest more money into a higher end blender (such as the vita-mix), and then just pick up an average-priced food processor from target or such (they seem to work just fine).
as far as the excalibur..i dont have it so i cant be of much help re: that. but as revvell said..it is supposedly the best on the market.
