Hi there,

By any chance does any one have any experience with Nutritional Fasting? This is where a person just has raw fruit & veggie juices, blended foods and water. If you have tried this before, did you find it helpful? Why did you do it? Did you only eat certain foods in your blended foods?

I have weak digestion and have started to try this but after about 1 week of it, I started to feel really horrible. I've been raw for a while now so I don't know if it would be detox symptoms??

Any thoughts/suggestions VERY appreciated...

i did a week long juice fast a few months back. waaayy too much sugar for me to handle, personally. and i usually live on mostly fruits, little fat, and a good amount of greens, but i think it was because without the fiber the sugar in the juice just goes straight into my blood (i dont even know if that medically makes sense lol). it gave me a lot of headaches and broke me out a bit. but then again, ive read that sometimes Storm lives on nothing but orange juice during the summer..so im sure everybodys individual response will vary.

ETA:
it may have been detox symptoms for you, maybe even for me, but i know ive fasted on water and lemon water before and by the week mark i felt good. on the juice fast i just felt really..jittery and strung out..and got headaches that i used to get after eating too many cookies or something back in my SAD days.
