Hi.. I was wondering if anyone has noticed an improvement in any moles, skin tags, skin thickening..like bumps or rough texture since going raw.

Also..if anyone has any suggestions for natural remedies for mole removal.

Thanks,

Elizabeth

My experience:

-As I have eaten healthier over the years....and gotten more healing sun...my moles have emerged on my skin...and either flaked away or been scratched away. An interesting and unforseen healing thing! Ha! ha!

Self medication
So I practice what I preach (on and off the soapbox). Amongst all the other billions of things I'm doing right now, I'm getting rid of a mole on my back. You can do this in a variety of ways. You can get sliced from a doctor (lots of NHS money, big waiting list, sure scar, handing over responsibility), you can use simple vitamin C (protocol on the internet), you can use a treatment that burns it off, or you can use a herbal treatment that creates an immune response in the body which attacks the mole and makes it fall off. Clearly I chose the latter and am having great fun. I'm on day 3, the mole will drop off in a day or two and will leave a crater. That will fill in in about 10 days, then it'll go the correct colour over a few months, maybe leaving a tiny scar. Why am I doing this? It's a fair sized mole, and it's altered in shape, and has started tingling. Signs of skin cancer. Like I'd let a doctor near me for something like this!!! The stuff is from no-moles, and is black walnut hull (a known anti-carcinogen) and a few other things. It removes skin tags (the one on my ear is getting treated), warts (including the downstairs variety), moles and skin cancer. It's great, and I'd sell it if it wasn't for the fact that our trading standards would probably shut me down! Imagine curing your own cancer, when the pharm companies could do it for you at a cost of thousands to the NHS? Well, my uncle died of cancer this year and he got burned massively by the mis-administration of drugs. This is a regular occurrence, and it totally sickens me to my stomach that it's still going on, that it's legal and that people -- disempowered fearful people who've been misfed information all their lives -- put up with it and accept it as truth. It's not. There are many cures for all cancers, they just aren't profit-making.

So my mole will soon be off, and I'll deal with a few others dotted around my body. Apparently, if you have more than 50 moles you are prone to skin cancer, so you do need to check these out. I have loads here and there, and as I'm so fair, I'm keeping tabs on them. This one is the biggest and most difficult to do as it's on my back, the others will be fun and easy, and it doesn't hurt a bit (though apparently warts hurt if you try that). I tried to photograph it but couldn't get a good shot, not even with my hyperflexible arms.

Ew those photo's of her mole looks painful. I have a skin tag that is light brown on my neck and Ive wanted it off for years. It appeared one day when I was 9 years old and my dad jokes that he can just snip it off with a pair of scissors like he does his. Ya right! It may be small but that WILL hurt. I hate pain. Im a big baby. No self inflicting piercings, tattoo's or other for this gal ;)
So to get rid of my skin tag, I need to use Vitamin C? Is that what she used or did I read it wrong :p

wow, thanks for posting that. I'm going to read more into shazzies info when I get a chance cause my fiance has quite a few moles that I know he'd like to get rid of and I have a skin tag on my neck that came on maybe two years ago just out of the blue!

I used to have red bumps on my skin. They disappeared since Vegan (mostly Raw). Stretch marks except on one point are gone. Cellulite gone. Freckles are disappearing O_O even dramatic for winter. I have three moles on my body, and haven't seen a difference, but maybe once I make the switch to 100% raw they will fall off.

I've always had terrible skin. It sunburns very easily and I have freckles all over my face and arms. When I was 7 I developed psoriasis all over my torso, arms and thighs, some weird inflamed oozing yellow big spots on the top of my thighs and what looked like a red mole on my shoulder. So I was sent to a skin specialist who diagnosed psoriasis and gave me yellow coal tar cream. This made it very painful, wet, inflamed and sore, so I didn't stopped using it.
He gave me antiobiotics and cream for the oozing spots and they healed.
He said the red mole was spitz nebhis (or something like that), that it was "second cousin to a wart", and that it was very rare so he made me have it photographed for a book for medical students. Then I had to visit him regularly so he could measure it with a ruler, and write down how big it was on his notes.

Anyway, sorry to bore you - when I became vegan the psoriasis improved a lot. It stopped being wet and sore, and became just dry and itchy. Then I ate just fruit for 6 months and it cleared up a lot. Then I became cooked vegan again and it worsened again but not as bad as before. Then I did a 2 month juice fast and it got rid of it completely. Like magic!!
A long time after, I was exposed to a strong detergent/bleach sort of thing and pop, I felt it coming out all over my body. Since then I break out a bit sometimes, when I am exposed to chemicals, sometimes when I have a bath (depending on where I am in the country), but usually my skin is completely clear.

As for the spitz nebhis.....the fruit-diet, and the juice fasting didn't affect it at all, but after a year and a half of 100% raw it is half the size it was, now pink instead of red, and no longer raised from my skin, it's sort of merged with it. I think in time it will actually go completely. I could never understand why the specialist measured it, but now I see, it shrinks when it goes.
It's cousin to a wart but it looks like a mole, so perhaps that information is useful to you.

Victoria Boutenko still had moles after many years of 100% raw. But then she started drinking 4 glasses green smoothies every day and after a while her moles dropped off.

I've heard that dandelions, hydrogen peroxide, and ozonated olive oil are effective at removing moles and warts.

My face and scalp do not appreciate being shaved at all, and express their strong disapproval by breaking out in an mass of unsightly shaving bumps that make me look like I had a fight with a swarm of angry wasps, and got whuped! But since switching to raw a week ago, and going through my all-night clean-out session two nights ago, my scalp and facial hair have decided to break with tradition and not religiously bore their way deep into my skin. Hopefully this continues. In addition, it's amazing how much the shape and look of your face changes when you go raw. Whether this includes moles I do not know since I don't have any, but I've seen exclusively raw food diets do amazing things...so anything is possible. If that's your incentive for going raw, I say stick with it!

I've been really curious about this - I have a new mole that popped up about 3 or 4 years ago. I've been keeping my eyes on it to see if raw would make it go away, and it did lighten over a couple of years doing high raw. This past couple of weeks I'm noticing that it's almost gone!

All my skin tags have disappeared. I know it is because of my raw diet, but, I don't know if it is because of certain vitamins/minerals etc.. that I have lots more of, or if it is something I stopped eating!

I've ordered this stuff to remove moles. Anyone out there used the product and have results? My moles make me feel embarassed and want to stay clothed from neck to toe!

If it is bloodroot paste, it is effective.

I read that magnesium oil works wonders for skin issues. The one i heard about was from sunfood.com. I have not tried it yet myself.

YES! I have (had) two very suspicious looking (could very well been pre cancerous) growths that progressively faded over the last four plus years I've been raw and they are almost completely gone.

Blessings!
