Saladacco question

I got my Saladacco today. I made the zucchini pasta and want to make Alissa's Rawvioli tomorrow. The problem is I tried the two settings; one did indeed make angel hair strands, but the other setting makes ribbons rather than slices I would need to make from the turnips. Advice is appreciated.

In order to make the chips, you have to slice (lengthwise) about halfway into the zucchini or turnip and then use the same setting you used that gave you the ribbons. The cut will make the ribbons come out into flat chips/slices but there will be a notch in each...that is normal.

You know all this time I've been using that setting and then separating them after I had processed them all.
